I am so excited about what I am learning about the blog world.  I have just added an mp3 player and a widget.  I did not even know what a widget was.  Hoping to learn more....anyone have anything to share in this area?

Vacation is such a good time to do things that you would not normally be doing or get done things that normally don't get done and also time for visiting with family and friends. 
A time of refreshment!

Of course my favorite place to go vacationing is the beach!  Yeah!  Even in the rain!

Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend I am spending it with my family. It seems as the boys get older there are less and less times that we have together as a family, so I like to seize the oppurtunity when I can.
We have a lilac festival where we live and this is one of our highlights this weekend and the firemen's parade. It is neat to see all the surrounding towns bring their firetrucks and hear all the sirens blaring! When my guys were little they once got to ride on one of those fire trucks in the parade. Much to their delight!

Life is just tough sometimes!

I believe that we go through tough times so that we can get to know God better. It is during those times that we lean on Him and draw our strength from Him. Are you going through a tough time? I encourage you to get into His word and memorize it and meditate on it. Give Him praise and glory and sing to Him. He delights in you!

Geetings!

April came in with such warmth and sunshine! I almost wanted to get out and get my garden planted. But, I know better than that, Today it is raining which is good because we really need the rain. I look out my kitchen window and see the pussy willows in bloom and the buds growing on my lilac bush.
I just love this time of year. Every new and fresh.
So how is your walk with the Lord? New and Fresh? His mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulnes! Are you faithful in spending time with Him each day? How about memorizing scripture? I know that you may think that is hard to do, but last year I memorized 24 scriptures. Never thought I could do that. Here is how I did it. I memorized 2 scriptures a month. It is a great way to do it because you can meditate on it as you memorize it. I would like to say that I thought of this myself but in reality it was Beth Moore who challenged us to do it. I have to say that it is life changing for me. I continue to memorize scripture.
So, I challenge you today to get started, get yourself an index spiral, ( good to use because you can carry it around with you everywhere and when you have a few minutes you can do it).
Fill yourself up with Jesus and His Words.

Spring has sprung!

My crocuses are in bloom!

I just love this time of the year, even the snow when it comes. I call it sugar snow that helps make the maple syrup that I love so much, and besides it won't last long.

Spring-new life. Reminds me of new life in Jesus Christ.

So get out there and enjoy this beautiful time of the year and look and see what God has created in all its beauty! It is everywhere just popping up! Enjoy!

The weather sure has been interesting in the north country of NH. Rain, snow, sleet, can't make up its mind. The sun does not know whether it should shine or not. It keeps life interesting.

Well I know one thing for sure and that is we can trust in Jesus Christ. Our hope and our faith if it is in Him is secure and solid. He is our rock and our refuge. He does not change like the weather. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Hebrews 13:8

A snowy day in the mountains

I just love the freshness of new fallen snow.
It is pure, clean, refreshing and quiet.
It covers everything that it lands on.

Yes, it does make it more difficult to get around but sometimes we just need to stop and enjoy the view. Life goes by too fast and we miss the beauty around us.

So today, take some time to stop and enjoy the creation that God has made for us to enjoy!
