Geetings!

April came in with such warmth and sunshine! I almost wanted to get out and get my garden planted. But, I know better than that, Today it is raining which is good because we really need the rain. I look out my kitchen window and see the pussy willows in bloom and the buds growing on my lilac bush.
I just love this time of year. Every new and fresh.
So how is your walk with the Lord? New and Fresh? His mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulnes! Are you faithful in spending time with Him each day? How about memorizing scripture? I know that you may think that is hard to do, but last year I memorized 24 scriptures. Never thought I could do that. Here is how I did it. I memorized 2 scriptures a month. It is a great way to do it because you can meditate on it as you memorize it. I would like to say that I thought of this myself but in reality it was Beth Moore who challenged us to do it. I have to say that it is life changing for me. I continue to memorize scripture.
So, I challenge you today to get started, get yourself an index spiral, ( good to use because you can carry it around with you everywhere and when you have a few minutes you can do it).
Fill yourself up with Jesus and His Words.

Spring has sprung!

My crocuses are in bloom!

I just love this time of the year, even the snow when it comes. I call it sugar snow that helps make the maple syrup that I love so much, and besides it won't last long.

Spring-new life. Reminds me of new life in Jesus Christ.

So get out there and enjoy this beautiful time of the year and look and see what God has created in all its beauty! It is everywhere just popping up! Enjoy!

The weather sure has been interesting in the north country of NH. Rain, snow, sleet, can't make up its mind. The sun does not know whether it should shine or not. It keeps life interesting.

Well I know one thing for sure and that is we can trust in Jesus Christ. Our hope and our faith if it is in Him is secure and solid. He is our rock and our refuge. He does not change like the weather. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Hebrews 13:8

A snowy day in the mountains

I just love the freshness of new fallen snow.
It is pure, clean, refreshing and quiet.
It covers everything that it lands on.

Yes, it does make it more difficult to get around but sometimes we just need to stop and enjoy the view. Life goes by too fast and we miss the beauty around us.

So today, take some time to stop and enjoy the creation that God has made for us to enjoy!
